lonely in leap year... again

In this kind of situation, I am lonely. Boyfriend never get to be near by my side. Going out with the other guy friend makes me feel guilty. Going out with the girlfriends mean no beer and full of bitchiness. Talking through the phone is just suck. I don't know what else to text you... just, when can I have a regular movie and dinner together? It sucks to be away from someone that you could have love more if he is by your side.

*grumpy*

Anyway, today is 29 February, leap year it is. Have you watch the movie, Leap Year? Let me help you to know the story...here's the trailer

I haven't watch the movie so I cn't say anything. It looks like I'm going to love it because I love all the romantic comedy that not starred by Jennifer Aniston. This movie was inspired by Scottish tradition when 29th Febraury is a lady's privilege to propose to her man
The origins of this tradition date back hundreds of years. It is believed that St. Brigid made a proposal to St. Patrick to allow women to take the leap of faith and propose to the men they wish to wed. The reason behind this proposal was to keep the balance between the women and men likewise how a leap year keeps the balance in the calendar. It is said that if a man denied the leap year marriage proposal, he would have to buy her 12 pairs of gloves. That way, the woman shall wear the gloves to avoid the embarrassment of not having an engagement ring. This tradition was supposedly practiced by the upper class societies in various European countries.
My friend in Facebook gave me the link after I casually proposed to him. When I first read it, the first thought was "another woman's logic...."" Aren't we smart for choosing the leap year to celebrate our anniversary? It cut the cost of life, rather than spending for Valentine's Day and wedding anniversary at the same year everyday. Not including birthday for both people. You go, women! Don't wait for the dumbass to start a move. *screaming this in full 100% high spirit, when in reality I am that dumbass who is too afraid to tell the magic words* Its OK if the guy rejects your proposal, you have 12 brands of gloves you can ask from him. Nothing to lose there...
When my 60 seconds came around i realized i had everything i ever wanted... but nothing i really needed. and i think what i need is here
Leap Year movie, 2010.
