I love wearing hijab but in my country, one does not simply wearing it and being a non-Muslim at the same time although it is common to see the Muslim not wearing their hijab. I'm an Anglican and I have faith in my religion. Obviously wearing hijab won't make me a Muslim but that is how it works here I guess, unless I'm a Sister. The Muslim thought that I want to convert into their religion, and the non-Muslim started to email me all the story links to Christian people regretting changing their belief and post me a free Bible. I got stress and pimple will start to appear. That is the chronology that will likely happen to me.. Since I've never tried wearing it without some of my hijab friends with me, am I being a paranoid parrot here? or that is really what likely to happen to me? I need someone to explain this.
This is how I love to wear it
In second thought, I don't want the Muslims to feel insulted when I wear hijab as I wish. I definitely not going to combine hijab with a mini skirt and a sleeveless shirt. That is not fashionable at all. I know how in Islam, there is a certain way in wearing hijab tho I'm not clear about it. I love walking on the beach during sunset. A jeans, blouse and shawl would be perfect for that time. I did it a couple of times with some very understanding friends. Not sure if the non-friends will do the same... Like I said, I've never tried it openly anyway..
Just a simple style, not to fancy like Yuna and yet I love it
How I wish for a little more freedom in my country.
Just some random thing to discuss with myself before sleep.
Goodnite sayang :)
